Prabowo Subianto, President of the Republic of Indonesia, recently enjoyed a dinner with former President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) at Bakmi Jowo Bu Citro 1 in Solo, Central Java. The dinner, which took place on Sunday, July 21, 2025, saw Prabowo and Jokowi sharing a table, along with Vice President Gibran Rakabuming and Aris Marsudiyanto, the Head of the Agency for Development Control and Special Investigation (BAPPISUS). During the dinner, both Prabowo and Jokowi were seen relishing bowls of noodle soup, accompanied by glasses of water and tea. The private dinner lasted for about an hour, during which the leaders engaged in a brief one-on-one conversation. Apart from the main table, several ministers from the Red-and-White Cabinet were also present, including Cabinet Secretary Lt. Col. Teddy Indra Wijaya, Foreign Minister Sugiono, and State Secretary Minister Prasetyo Hadi. Aris Marsudiyanto, who shared the table with the distinguished guests, is known for his support for Prabowo and the Gerindra Party. As the Head of the Election Winning Body (Bappilu) for the West Java region, Aris has been a loyal ally and played an active role in successive election campaigns. Having known Prabowo since their Military Academy days, Aris continues to support him and his endeavors.
