Minister of Youth and Sports, Dito Ariotedjo, recently visited SMK Negeri 26 Jakarta to oversee the Free Health Check in Schools (CKG Sekolah) program. This program, part of a nationwide launch in 12 schools across Indonesia, reflects President Prabowo Subianto’s dedication to the health of young Indonesians. Minister Dito highlighted the program’s alignment with the Ministry’s vision of improving the physical fitness of the population under the Asta Cita development framework. The data collected from the CKG program will inform policies promoting healthy lifestyles among students, aiming to cultivate a generation that is both physically and mentally robust. During the visit, Minister Dito was accompanied by officials and athletes, conducting health screenings for students, including measurements of height and weight, nutritional status, blood pressure, physical fitness, dental and eye health, and screenings for tuberculosis and mental well-being. The CKG Sekolah initiative, a key component of President Prabowo’s healthcare reform vision, started its phased rollout in February targeting the entire Indonesian population, focusing on over 53.8 million students. As of August 1, 2025, over 16 million people have benefited from the program, showing promising progress towards equal access to healthcare services and the realization of Golden Indonesia 2045.
