Prabowo Subianto, President of Indonesia, recently appointed General Tandyo Budi as the Deputy Commander of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI). In addition to this appointment, six new Regional Military Command (Kodam) commanders, 20 brigade commanders, and 100 Territorial Development Battalions were also installed by Prabowo. Furthermore, Prabowo highlighted the TNI’s identity and mission, emphasizing that they are the people’s army, born from the people, and dedicated to serving and defending the people. He concluded by stating the TNI’s commitment to being ready to sacrifice for the nation.
