He described the TNI as the “child of the people,” emphasizing their duty to defend and serve the citizens of Indonesia. Prabowo also urged commanders to lead with integrity and treat their soldiers like their own children. He highlighted the TNI’s role as the nation’s front line of defense and recognized the dedication of several individuals with honorary ranks and awards during the ceremony. The event also saw the inauguration of new TNI units and a troop review, showcasing the strength and readiness of over 27,000 personnel and various defense equipment units.
