Andra Farizki Ramdhani, a 10th-grade student at People’s High School (SRMA 10) in South Jakarta, is a shining example of resilience and determination despite growing up without a father. Thanks to the People’s School initiative launched by President Prabowo Subianto, Andra’s opportunities for a proper education have multiplied. The boarding school setup at SRMA 10 has provided Andra with not just a conducive learning environment but also a sense of camaraderie and friendship.
His days are packed with activities, from morning prayers to classes and extracurriculars like judo and the student flag-raising team. Even without a father figure, Andra’s ambition remains high – he dreams of excelling in judo and pursuing higher education at the Defense University (Unhan). His unwavering determination is fueled by his mother’s unwavering support and prayers, driving him to always strive for more.
Andra is grateful for the opportunity to study at the People’s School without the financial burden that often plagues underprivileged children. He appreciates the lack of extra costs and barriers to entry that other schools may pose, creating a truly inclusive and welcoming educational environment.
