The Free Health Check in Schools (CKG) program in Indonesia aims to benefit 53 million students in various educational institutions nationwide. The initiative covers public, private, and religious schools, all under the supervision of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, responsible for overseeing 12.5 million students. This program, endorsed by Hariqo Wibawa Satria, Senior Expert Staff at the Presidential Communication Office, is part of President Prabowo’s vision to shape a Golden Generation by 2045. The President, viewing every Indonesian child as a national asset, has implemented strategic policies to support this vision, including Free Nutritious Meals, Capacity Expansion of Public Hospitals, and Digital Learning Initiatives. Moreover, recent government regulations support child protection and provide incentives for medical professionals in remote areas. Minister of Religious Affairs Nasaruddin Umar has stressed the importance of inclusive service delivery in religious schools, emphasizing the significance of CKG in advancing the vision for Golden Indonesia 2045. The program aims to promote health, intelligence, and global competitiveness in students, with Minister Nasaruddin calling for full support from religious schools in facilitating the initiative and ensuring active involvement from teachers and staff. Continuous monitoring of the program’s implementation is vital, with warnings issued to schools failing to take the program seriously.
