President Prabowo Subianto embarked on a visit to Klaten, Central Java, to kick off the Merah Putih Village Cooperative Program, a key initiative of his administration. The President’s arrival was met with great enthusiasm from locals, including residents, teachers, and schoolchildren, who lined the streets to welcome him with cheers and waves. Dressed in a brown suit and black cap, President Prabowo greeted the crowd with smiles, handshakes, and even handed out shirts as his motorcade made its way to Klaten. The official launch event took place in Bentangan Village, Wonosari District, marking the beginning of this important program aimed at establishing over 80,000 cooperatives nationwide by October 28, 2025. These cooperatives play a vital role in bolstering rural economies, enhancing farmers’ livelihoods, and generating employment opportunities, thereby promoting inclusive and sustainable development throughout Indonesia.
